HARVEST WATER TRAFFIC ALERT

The following road closures are currently in place or planned as part of Harvest Water pipeline construction.

 

Road Closures and Detour Routes

The south end of Point Pleasant Road at Lambert Road will be closed from May 9 through late May. Access to properties on Point Pleasant Road north of Lambert will be via Franklin Boulevard, as no vehicles may enter the work zone at Point Pleasant and Lambert. Access to through traffic will be maintained on Lambert Road.

 

Franklin Boulevard between Core Road and Point Pleasant Road is currently closed through mid-May. The detour route in place is:

  • Northbound detour: Point Pleasant Road east to Ed Rau Road north to Core Road west to Franklin
  • Southbound detour: Core Road east to Ed Rau Road south to Point Pleasant Road west to Franklin
  • Important note: access to local properties within the work zone will be from Point Pleasant Road to the south – vehicles will not be able to enter the area from Core Road to the north.

 

Franklin Boulevard north of Bilby Road and south of Whitelock Parkway is currently closed through late May. The detour route in place is:

  • Southbound detour: Willard Parkway southeast to Bilby Road
  • Northbound detour: Bilby Road east to Willard Parkway
  • Access to Franklin Ranch Pet Hospital is available via southbound Franklin Boulevard from the north.

 

Twin Cities Road between Bruceville Road and Franklin Boulevard is anticipated to be closed starting in mid-May. This work, originally planned for March, is now anticipated to start May 17 and last  approximately two months. The detour route in place will be:

  • Westbound detour: Bruceville Road north to Lambert Road west to Franklin Boulevard
  • Eastbound detour: Franklin Boulevard north to Lambert Road east to Bruceville Road
  • Trucks will be diverted to alternate routes such as Bilby Road and Point Pleasant Road to avoid clearance issues at Lambert Road.

 

Eschinger Road between Carroll Road and West Stockton Boulevard is now open. 

 

Road closure timing is subject to change. Access to properties within the work areas will be maintained during construction.

  • Street Use Permit for Elk Grove Spring Musicfest on 5/11/2024 from 7am-10pm – Road Closure on West Mumford Ct.
  • Street Use Permit for SES Procession on 5/12/2024 from 10am-2pm – Road Closure on East Stockton Blvd from Grant Line Rd to Elk Grove Florin Rd and Elk Grove Florin Rd from East Stockton Blvd to Lismore Dr.
  • Street Use Permit for Elk Grove Music Festival on 5/18/2024 from 12pm-8pm – Road Closure on Grove St from Railroad St to Jan Marie Wy.

 

  • Franklin Blvd Lane Closure, Intermittent Northbound direction between Whitelock Pkwy and Laguna Blvd. Starting May 6, 2024, and Ending May 10, 2024. From 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Public Works Encroachment Division, Harvest Water Project - Pothole Permit EP-24-02104
