On Tuesday, California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) celebrated the opening of its latest office building in Elk Grove with a special event hosted by the City of Elk Grove.  Located at the Laguna Springs Corporate Center on Longleaf Drive, the new 110,000 square foot Class-A office building expands CCHCS’s Elk Grove footprint from five buildings to six.  CCHCS now occupies more than 300,000 square feet in Elk Grove and employs 1,600 within the City limits.

Headquartered in Elk Grove, CCHCS facilitates inmate healthcare services for California’s 34 state prisons and 125,000 adult inmates. The project was developed by Sacramento-based Pappas Investments in partnership with CCHCS and the City of Elk Grove.

With close proximity to the State Capitol, abundant land, a City-operated transit system, and free parking, the City of Elk Grove is an excellent location for state offices and facilities. The City's Economic Development Department provides economic incentives through its State and Federal Office Incentive Program for government agencies to locate within Elk Grove.
