Civic Center and Community Park

The development of the 32,000+ square foot Community Center is just a few short months away from being complete. This highly anticipated project located on Civic Center Drive, will be the new home to the Senior Center of Elk Grove, the American Legion, The VFW and the Marine Corps.

The state of the art Community Center will also be one of the largest rentable spaces offered in our area. The floor to ceiling glass windows, contemporary architecture, soft color palette and surrounding oak trees, make for the perfect backdrop for a wedding, anniversary, art show, corporate dinner, or any gathering alike. City staff will be available at the center in the Fall of 2019 to assist you with planning and organizing your special event.  Pricing and event kits will be coming soon.

Patrons attending events, conducting business or just strolling through the center will be able to get a fresh bite to eat in the Elk Grove Café located in the center.  Open daily, the café's menu will cover soups, salads, sandwiches, coffees, juices and much more.

In 2020, the City of Elk Grove will begin construction on the Nature Area portion of the campus, including a botanical garden, playground, large grass area, a pond, jogging trails, overlook points, a kinetic art sculpture and much more.
