Public Input Requested for Roundabout Construction Project

Posted: 04/11/2016

The City’s Public Works Department is asking for the public’s input on whether to fully close the intersection of Sheldon Road and Waterman Road for 30 days to complete construction of the new roundabout. Construction is scheduled to begin this summer. Completion is expected before the start of school.

Aspects of the project will be considered at the May 11 City Council meeting. Public input on whether to implement a full or partial closure will be accepted through Friday, April 22. For a complete explanation of the advantages and disadvantages of the full closure and details of the project visit the City’s web site at http://www.elkgrovecity.org/city_hall/departments_divisions/public_works/capital_improvements/sheldon___waterman_intersection_project/ .

For questions, concerns or more information, contact Tom Metcalf at
