The idea of a “one-stop” facility where you can hop on light rail or transfer from bus to train to connect to Sacramento, Bakersfield, and everywhere in between could become a reality in the future. Assist the Public Works Department project team in evaluating the viability of a multi-modal facility within our City during a community open house scheduled on Wednesday, August 2 in City Hall Council Chambers (8400 Laguna Palms Way) beginning at 6:00 pm.

Learn more about the City’s Multi-modal Feasibility Study and how a facility could meet current and future transit demands for transportation to employment centers and key destinations throughout the region. Drop by Council Chambers any time between 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. to ask questions and discuss ideas. A brief presentation will begin at 6:05 p.m.

Can’t make it to the meeting? Share your thoughts in an online questionnaire at www.elkgrovecity.org/opencityhall by August 16.

For upcoming meetings and project information, visit http://www.elkgrovecity.org/multimodal or email or call Tom Metcalf at tmetcalf@elkgrovecity.org or 478-2281.
