The City of Elk Grove is considering the potential future development of a Multi-Modal Facility to connect residents and visitors with several modes of transportation within the City. The Public Works Department will host a community open house for those residents living near potential multi- modal facility sites located immediately adjacent to the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) tracks on the west side of the City along the Sacramento Subdivision Rail Line.
The Public Works Department is completing a Multi-Modal Facility Feasibility Study and will be conducting this community open house prior to presenting their recommendations and findings to the City Council at a future Council meeting.
Residents are encouraged to provide their input and comments about the sites being investigated during the community open house. Those who require translation services at the open house must contact the City at least 72 hours prior to the open house to request assistance.
