Project Overview
The Kammerer Road Reconstruction project (Project) will reconstruct Kammerer Road between Bruceville Road to Lent Ranch Parkway. The new roadway will consist of a median with one travel lane and shoulder in each direction. The reconstruction will improve safety by providing lane widths and shoulder widths that meet current standards as well as providing a median between opposing directions of travel.
While the Project will only be constructing 2 total lanes at this time, future lane additions are anticipated as development occurs in the area. The timing of those future lane additions will be dependent on traffic demand and funding.
The Project is part of the Capital Southeast Connector (Connector) known as Segment A2. The City continues to coordinate with the Connector JPA (JPA) on improvements. For more information on the Connector, please visit their connectorjpa.net

Construction — Kammerer Closure and Detour Route
For the duration of construction, the Project will implement a closure of Kammerer Road to through traffic. Access will still be maintained for emergency services, residents/tenants, mail service, garbage service and package delivery. All other traffic will be routed around Kammerer Road on a detour route as shown in the following graphic:
