2017-18 Community Service Grant / Community Development Block Grant

The City of Elk Grove is conducting its grant planning and application process for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Community Service Grant (CSG) programs in the 2017-18 fiscal year, which covers the period from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018.

Grant Opportunities

Beginning January 20, 2017, the City of Elk Grove will be accepting applications for the CDBG and CSG programs for FY 2017-18. Nonprofit organizations and local governmental entities serving Elk Grove residents may apply for funding for service provision and/or facility acquisition or improvements. If you are interested in submitting an application, you must complete the application form and submit it electronically with all the required documentation by February 22, 2017 at 11:59pm in order to be considered for a grant.

Public Meeting and Technical Assistance Workshop

The City will hold a public meeting and technical assistance workshop to assist applicants and provide members of the public an opportunity to share what types of activities they feel are most needed in Elk Grove. Relevant feedback from the public meeting will be incorporated into the Action Plan. The public meeting will be held:

Event Sponsorship Grants

The City of Elk Grove provides assistance to selected nonprofit organizations that wish to host a special event that benefits the Elk Grove community. The application for FY 2017-18 events will be available in January 20, 2017.
