Art Exhibit Overview
The Elk Grove Multicultural Festival showcases the diversity of cultures in our community through dance, dress, music, food, and art. The 2016 Festival will once again be hosting an art show in the beautiful pavilion of Elk Grove Regional Park.
The Art Competition
The theme of the exhibit is "CULTURE", but one of the pieces submitted may be of a general theme.
The art, which is automatically entered into a competition for ribbons, can be for "Display Only" or “For Sale”. Any sales will be made after the Festival as a private transaction between the buyer and the artist. A maximum of four entries per artist will be permitted. Of the up to four art pieces that may be submitted by the artist, one of the four can be of a "general" theme. Art can be in the form of two dimensional art, for example (e.g.), painting, photography, original prints, etcetera (etc) or three dimensional art (e.g. sculpture, glass, mixed media, etc.). In selecting your submissions for the art show, please remember that the Elk Grove Multicultural Festival is a family event – promoting a respect of all cultures.
