Home for the Holidays

We're staying home for the holidays this year, but that doesn't mean we have to hold back our holiday cheer. The City is introducing new activities aimed at making spirits bright and we hope you'll join us in some of the fun!

NeighborGood Holiday Market

NeighborGood Holiday Market

Thursday, December 3, The Avenue at District56 (Corner of Big Horn and Civic Center Drive) 4:00pm - 7:00pm

The City of Elk Grove is partnering with Unseen Heroes for a holiday market mashup that pairs Elk Grove's open-air essential market with the lighting of the City's Ribbon Tree at District56. Grab some dinner, shop for holiday gifts from local vendors and artisans, and enjoy a little holiday entertainment. Don't forget to take that family photo with the Ribbon Tree.

Send a Holiday Smile

Send a Holiday Smile

November 30 through December 18

The holidays can be a lonely time for our eldest residents and current health guidelines have secluded seniors more than ever before. Let's get together and send seniors a smile! We'll make it easy for you... just stop by City Hall to pick up your own holiday cards to send to Elk Grove Seniors. The City has coordinated with local senior care centers and apartment complexes to identify those who may need a little extra love this holiday season. Card-making kits include everything you need to create a special holiday wish to send in the mail, including pre-addressed and stamped envelopes. They will be available at City Hall November 30 through December 18, or pick one up at the NeighborGood Holiday Market on December 3rd.
