Sergio Robles was elected to the city council in November 2022.
Sergio is a first-generation Mexican American born in Texas, raised in Minnesota, and spent his formative years in Sacramento County. He graduated from Hiram Johnson High School and attended the Los Rios Community College District before earning his bachelor's degree at California State University, Northridge.
A former city commissioner, Sergio served on the Elk Grove Planning Commission from October 2020 to November 2022. Actively engaged in the community, he is involved with the NeighborWoods Committee of the Sacramento Tree Foundation, serves as a board member with the City of Refuge Sacramento, is a Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Sacramento, and contributes to the Elk Grove Food Bank. He also serves as a representative on the JPA Connector Board, Sacramento Metropolitan Air Quality Management District, and the Sacramento Area Sewer District. Committed to service, Sergio's dedication was recognized in Comstock's Magazine as one of the Young Professionals of 2022.
Beyond his civic involvement, Sergio proudly serves as a soldier in the California Army National Guard.
