The Veteran’s Organizations in the City of Elk Grove, in partnership with the Cosumnes Services District and the City of Elk Grove, are proud to be holding a special ceremony to honor the commitment and sacrifices made by our nation’s prisoners of war and those who are still missing in action, as well as their families.
The ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 21st, 2024, located next to the Flag Poles at the Elk Grove Community Center, known as “District 56”, 8230 Civic Center Drive, Elk Grove, CA, 95757
The event will start at 11:00 a.m. and last about 1 hour. At the conclusion of the event, refreshments will be served.
In addition, as part of this day of recognition, Americans are asked to pause and reflect on the service and sacrifices made by the military men and women wo are imprisoned or unaccounted for because of their military service. Give thanks to our veterans and active service men and women.
