Measure E Citizen's Oversight Committee Meeting

The Measure E Citizens’ Oversight Committee, a group of seven dedicated volunteers appointed by the Mayor, plays a critical role in reviewing how funds from Measure E, Elk Grove’s general sales tax measure, are managed. This committee meets at least twice a year to ensure transparency and accountability. They review revenues and expenditures, examine annual independent financial audits, and evaluate proposed budgets to confirm that spending aligns with community priorities. Their work culminates in an annual report, which they present to the City Council.
