The Community Center is a 32,178 square foot facility that includes a Senior Center and Veterans Hall as well as a main hall with dining capacity for 500 and Cafe. The project was advertised for bid on January 3, 2018, with the bid opening on February 6, 2018. Seven total bids were received. The project was awarded to Bobo Construction of Elk Grove on February 14, 2018 for a total cost of $18,138,103, which is within the budget for the project. Construction began in April 2018 and completion is anticipated for summer 2019.
