The City offers a 20% discount on the garbage portion of the utility bill for qualifying households. To qualify for the program, applicants must be enrolled in SMUD's Energy Assistance Program and will be asked to provide a copy of a current SMUD bill as verification. Customers who qualify for the City Of Elk Grove's rate assistance program are subject to all deposit requirements, late fees and suspension of service for unpaid accounts. Application may mailed to:
