These adoptable animals are posted by Elk Grove residents. View additional adoptable animals at the shelter.
These animals are offered for adoption by their owners for a small rehoming fee that is donated to shelter animals. This program is a courtesy of Elk Grove Animal Services to pet owners who have had to make the difficult decision to rehome their pet.
Arrange to meet your new best friend:
-
Step1: See an animal you’d like to meet and possibly adopt?
Click their photo for more information.
Contact the animal’s owner by selecting “Apply to Adopt”. -
Step 2: The current owner will be responsible for contacting you to arrange a meet and greet with the pet.
Look for the owner to contact you directly or through the Rehome platform.
If current owners do not respond to your inquiry, they might have others to contact, or their pet has already found a home. Please be patient and continue with your search.
