ELK GROVE, CA – On October 13, 2023, at approximately 5:36 p.m., the Elk Grove Police Department responded to Elk Grove Florin Road, between West Camden Drive and Sheldon Road, regarding a two-vehicle collision.
A motorcycle was driving at a high rate of speed, northbound on Elk Grove Florin Road while a white Nissan was making a turning movement from southbound Elk Grove Florin Road. The motorcycle then collided into the Nissan.
The Nissan's driver and sole occupant was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 40-year-old male, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Sacramento County Coroner's Office will make identification of the deceased.
