Teen Driver Killed In Single-Vehicle Collision On Big Horn Boulevard

A teen driver died in a single-vehicle crash on Big Horn Boulevard Wednesday afternoon.  

Officers responded to Big Horn Boulevard, between Amber Creek Drive and Frye Creek, regarding a single-vehicle collision on November 20, 2024, around 1:23 p.m.       

A Lexus IS 250 traveling westbound on Big Horn Boulevard left the roadway just east of Frye Creek Drive and struck a tree. Tragically, the driver, a 17-year-old male, was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Sacramento County Coroner's Office will make identification of the deceased.

The collision is under investigation, and Traffic Investigators believe speed was a factor.
