Memorial Service for Officer Ty Lenehan
ELK GROVE, CA -The memorial service to honor Elk Grove Police Officer Ty Lenehan who died in the line of duty on January 21, 2022, is scheduled for Tuesday, February 1, 2022. The memorial service is set to begin at 10:00 a.m. at Bayside Church Adventure Campus in Roseville, located at 6401 Stanford Ranch Road.All other law enforcement honors will be performed at a private graveside service.
The Bayside Church service is open to the public. It is asked that no attendees, including outside law enforcement agencies, arrive at Bayside Church prior to 9:00 am. There will also be an opportunity to pay respects to Officer Ty Lenehan as his procession travels from Bayside Church to Green Valley Mortuary in Rescue, CA. The graveside service in Rescue will be private.
More information about the media pool, which is being handled by KOVR, will be sent out by us on Friday.
The family of Officer Ty Lenehan has authorized the video presentation/slide show to be broadcast by news media. There will benomedia photographers or videographers allowed inside the venue. The gates to the venue will open at 6:30 a.m. and media will be allowed to set up.
