The City of Elk Grove has partnered withSeeClickFixto launch a new platform to allow residents and visitors to easily report quality-of-life issues and request City services.
SeeClickFix Elk Grovemobile app and web tools offer residents the chance to provide pictures, specific descriptions, and other important information to report issues like potholes, roadside litter, streetlight outages, storm drain issues, sign problems, code violations, and more.
"SeeClickFix Elk Grove will help our crews and our community connect to report and resolve the issues that pop up in our daily life. This tool supports a two-way communication and partnership between city staff and residents, our eyes and ears, to keep Elk Grove looking good and running well," said Elk Grove Public Works Director, Jeff Werner.
SeeClickFix Elk Grove not only empowers residents to report problems, but also to view, comment on, and vote to fix problems submitted by their neighbors. They can even create their own "watch areas" to receive notifications about all the issues reported in their neighborhood, enabling them to follow the progress of all service requests — not just the ones they report.
But SeeClickFix is not monitored 24/7. Urgent infrastructure issues should still be reported to the City's 24-hour Hotline at (916) 687-3005. Examples of urgent issues include flooding, fallen tree/branches in the roadway, traffic signal concerns, or stop sign down/missing. Issues related to public safety should be reported directly to the Elk Grove Police Department at (916) 714-5115 (Non-emergency) or 9-1-1 for emergencies.
SeeClickFix Elk Grove is now available on theCity's websiteand for free download in theAndroidandAppleapp stores.
