Elk Grove, Calif. – Runners will be taking to the streets around Elk Grove Park this Sunday, October 16 for the Dia de Los Miles Fleet Feet 5k Run. To accommodate the event, road closures and alternative routes around the event will be in place between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Motorists are encouraged to plan accordingly.
Street Closures for Sunday, October 16:
- East Stockton Blvd. between Elk Grove-Florin Road and Valley Oak Lane will be closed.
- The southbound lanes of Elk Grove-Florin Road from Valley Oak Lane to Gate 1 of Elk Grove Park will be closed.
- Southbound East Stockton Blvd. at the Highway 99 off/on ramp will be closed.
Alternative Routes: Valley Oak Lane and Elk Grove-Florin Road will remain partially open for traffic flow and Police and event staff will help to re-route drivers.
