Waterman Road Segment Closed for SMUD Work

Work to improve Waterman Road will require the temporary closure of Waterman RoadMondays through Saturdays beginningMonday, January 3through February 4, 2022.

Affected Area:Waterman Road will be closed from Kent Street to Grant Line Road from Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. when SMUD is working on site. When SMUD is not on site, Waterman Road will be open. This work may be delayed in inclement weather.

Project Description:SMUD crews will be relocating power poles to accommodate additional construction improvements for Waterman Road in 2022.

Driver Impacts:Drivers on Waterman Road will be detoured via Elk Grove Blvd., Bradshaw Road and Grant Line Road (Southbound) or via Grant Line Road, Bradshaw Road, and Bond Road (Northbound). Local access for properties within the closed area will be provided.
