About The Program
Youth 411 is a new program developed to engage students in a variety of topics designed to foster relationships, trust and understanding between law enforcement personnel and teens. Like our Citizens’ Academy, participants will have an opportunity to gain an understanding of police operations through specialized presentations, hand-on activities, and more.
The six-week academy will be held at the Elk Grove Police Department.
Classes are limited to 20 students per session.

Requirements
Requirements for consideration include:
- Commitment to attending all sessions (Thursdays, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.)
- Ages 14-17
- Be a resident of the City of Elk Grove
- Provide a signed parental release
