Traffic Advisory: Run4 Independence
Laguna Sunrise Rotary Club will host the Run 4 Independence on and around District56 on Thursday, July 4. To accommodate the event, road closures and detours will be set up between the hours of 6:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Motorists are encouraged to plan accordingly.
Street Closures and Detours:
- Civic Center Drive will be closed from Big Horn Blvd. to Laguna Springs Drive from 6:45 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Northbound Big Horn Blvd. will be closed from Whitelock Parkway to Lotz Parkway from 7 to 11 a.m.
- Both directions of Laguna Springs Drive south of Elk Grove Boulevard, Auto Passage Drive, Wolfpack Lane, and Lotz Parkway will be closed from 7 to 11 a.m.
- A police escort will guide vehicles along Laguna Springs Drive between Elk Grove Boulevard and Civic Center Drive during the closure. Police Escorts will occur when participants are clear from the roadway
- Auto Center Drive and roads traveling through the Elk Grove Auto Mall will be closed from 6:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
- Northbound Promenade Parkway will be closed from Kyler Road to Laguna Grove Drive from 7 to 11 a.m.
Alternative Routes: Motorists traveling north or southbound in this section of the City during the event are encouraged to use Bruceville Road during the closure. East and westbound travelers should use Elk Grove Blvd. between the hours of 6 and 11 a.m. to avoid closures.

Harvest Water Traffic Alert

The following road closures are currently in place or planned as part of Harvest Water pipeline construction.
Road Closures and Detour Routes
Twin Cities Road between Bruceville Road and Franklin Boulevard is now closed through early July. The detour route in place is:
• Westbound detour: Bruceville Road north to Lambert Road west to Franklin Boulevard
• Eastbound detour: Franklin Boulevard north to Lambert Road east to Bruceville Road
• Trucks will be diverted to alternate routes such as Bilby Road and Point Pleasant Road to avoid clearance issues at Lambert Road
The south end of Point Pleasant Road at Lambert Road remains closed through early June. Access to properties on Point Pleasant Road north of Lambert will be via Franklin Boulevard, as no vehicles may enter the work zone at Point Pleasant and Lambert. Access to through traffic will be maintained on Lambert Road.
Franklin Boulevard north of Bilby Road and south of Whitelock Parkway remains closed through early June. The detour route in place is:
• Southbound detour: Willard Parkway southeast to Bilby Road
• Northbound detour: Bilby Road east to Willard Parkway
• Access to Franklin Ranch Pet Hospital is available via southbound Franklin Boulevard from the north.
In early to mid-June, work on Franklin Boulevard between Bilby and Hood Franklin roads will begin. One lane of traffic will be maintained, with flaggers in place to direct vehicles. Please allow for extra time and drive with caution through the construction zone.
Kestral Lake Road remains closed. This is not a through road, so no detour is in place.
Road closure timing is subject to change. Access to properties within the work areas will be maintained during construction
