Meandering two miles from Laguna Springs Drive to Lewis Stein Road, the 10-foot-wide paved path with decomposed granite shoulders is nestled among trees and wildlife and follows the historic creek along the way.

Access City Hall or one of four parks along the Elk Grove Creek Trail. Walk to your Doc at UC Davis, Sutter or Kaiser. Enjoy a day of shopping at the Walmart, Laguna Gateway or Laguna Point Shopping Centers; follow it up with dinner at one of the dozens of restaurants and cap off the evening with an ice cream cone at the new Leatherby's.

With Longleaf Bridge opening this fall and planned extensions coming in early 2014, the ever-changing landscape of the Elk Grove Creek Trail will give residents more to enjoy for generations to come.
