The Elk Grove Overnight Warming Location (OWL) Cooperative will open a warming location atGood Shepard Catholic Churchlocated at9539 Racquet CourtFriday through Sunday,December 31 through January 2.
A warming location will open this week based on RealFeel temperatures expected to dip below freezing two days in a row.
The OWL is open to adults 18 and older who lack shelter or adequate home heating. Nightly operating hours are 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. Pets are not permitted. Families with children will be referred to a motel voucher program coordinated byEG HART.
